Garlic Paste

This homemade garlic paste is a kitchen lifesaver! Blend garlic with salt, olive oil, and lemon juice for a smooth paste you can use in all your cooking. Store in the fridge or freeze in cubes for quick, everyday flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g garlic
  • 20 g salt
  • 50 g olive oil
  • 1 lemon juice

Equipment

  • Small food processor
  • Glass jar with lid
  • Ice cube tray (optional)

Method
 

  1. If your garlic is old, remove the middle sprout.
  2. Add garlic, salt, olive oil, and lemon juice to a small food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Transfer to a clean jar. Keep refrigerated or freeze in ice cube trays.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Freeze in cubes for easy portioning.
