Peach Iced Tea (Naturally Sweetened)

This homemade peach iced tea is the perfect summer drink—refreshing, fruity, and lightly sweetened with honey. Made with real peaches and your favorite tea (I love jasmine green!), it’s a delicious way to cool down on a warm day.

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp loose tea or 2 tea bags – jasmine green tea works great
  • 3 –4 ripe peaches pitted
  • 1/4 cup honey or sugar adjust to taste
  • 2 cups water divided

Equipment

  • Small pot or saucepan
  • Blender
  • Fine mesh strainer (optional, for smoother tea)
  • Pitcher
  • Spoon for stirring
  • Glasses for serving

Method

  1. Make the tea:
  2. Brew 2 tsp of loose tea (or 2 tea bags) in 1 cup of hot water. Steep for 5–7 minutes, then remove the tea leaves or bags and set aside to cool.
  3. Blend the peaches:
  4. In a blender, combine the pitted peaches, honey, and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  5. Simmer the peach mixture:
  6. Pour the blended peaches into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
  7. Combine:
  8. In a pitcher, mix the cooled peach syrup with the brewed tea. Stir well and chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  9. Serve:
  10. Pour over ice and garnish with fresh peach slices or mint if desired. Enjoy!

Notes

Tea options: Jasmine green tea adds a floral note, but you can also use black tea, white tea, or herbal tea like chamomile.
• Sweetener swaps: Use maple syrup, agave, or sugar instead of honey if preferred. Adjust to your taste.
• Straining optional: If you prefer a smoother drink, strain the blended peach mixture before simmering.
• Make it fizzy: Mix with sparkling water for a bubbly twist!
• Storage: Store in the fridge for up to 3 days. Stir before serving.
