- Make the tea:
- Brew 2 tsp of loose tea (or 2 tea bags) in 1 cup of hot water. Steep for 5–7 minutes, then remove the tea leaves or bags and set aside to cool.
- Blend the peaches:
- In a blender, combine the pitted peaches, honey, and 1 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
- Simmer the peach mixture:
- Pour the blended peaches into a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Combine:
- In a pitcher, mix the cooled peach syrup with the brewed tea. Stir well and chill in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Serve:
- Pour over ice and garnish with fresh peach slices or mint if desired. Enjoy!
Notes
Tea options: Jasmine green tea adds a floral note, but you can also use black tea, white tea, or herbal tea like chamomile.
