- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a 12-cup muffin pan.
- In a large bowl, mash bananas. Mix in butter, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- Add dry ingredients to wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
- Place in oven, immediately reduce temperature to 350°F, and bake for ~20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly and enjoy warm!
